Clan win 4th Bronze Baby trophy in 8 years
REGINA (CIS) - Third-year forward Robyn Buna scored 20 points as the top-seeded Simon Fraser Clan overcame an erratic first half and a standing-room-only University of Regina crowd of 2,440 to capture their fourth CIS women's basketball title in eight years with a 68-62 win over the tournament host and No. 2 Cougars, Sunday night. -

CIS bronze: No. 4 Pandas win thriller, earn bronze
REGINA (CIS) - Freshman Nicole Clarke scored 16 points and Alysia Rissling had a 10-point, 11-rebound double-double as the No. 4-seeded Alberta Pandas edged the No. 3 Windsor Lancers 64-62 in the bronze-medal game of the 2009 CIS women's basketball championship, Sunday afternoon, at the University of Regina. -
