Clan win 4th Bronze Baby trophy in 8 years
REGINA (CIS) - Third-year forward Robyn Buna scored 20 points as the top-seeded Simon Fraser Clan overcame an erratic first half and a standing-room-only University of Regina crowd of 2,440 to capture their fourth CIS women's basketball title in eight years with a 68-62 win over the tournament host and No. 2 Cougars, Sunday night. - March 8 2009

REGINA (CIS) - Freshman Nicole Clarke scored 16 points and Alysia Rissling had a 10-point, 11-rebound double-double as the No. 4-seeded Alberta Pandas edged the No. 3 Windsor Lancers 64-62 in the bronze-medal game of the 2009 CIS women's basketball championship, Sunday afternoon, at the University of Regina. - March 8 2009

CIS consolation final: No. 7 Capers finish fifth, Laval sixth
REGINA (CIS) - The No. 7-ranked Cape Breton Capers took an early lead and never looked back as they defeated the No. 5 Laval Rouge et Or 67-56 in the fifth-place consolation final of the 2009 CIS women's basketball championship, Sunday afternoon, at the University of Regina. - March 8 2009
